1. Don’t be so hard on yourself. If you are unhappy with something you’re doing, accept it, then make a change to this behaviour. Don’t beat yourself up.

2. Each day, find 3 things you are grateful for. As soon as you wake up in the morning, think of these and remind yourself of 3 new ones each day.

3. Drink more water, eat healthy food, something with lots of flavour and vegetables.

4. Tell the ones close to you how much you appreciate them, and how much you love them.

5. Move your body. For an hour at least. Yoga, a workout, stretch, dance.

6. Breathe in nature. Whether it is for 5 minutes or 50 minutes. Focus on the colours, sounds, smell, and touch.

7. Cry, laugh, scream. Let out your emotions.

8. Clean, home prep some meals for the week, change your sheets on your bed. Do something that makes you feel clean and can take your mind off things.

9. Shower. Bath. Cleanse. Hot water or cold water, whichever you prefer. Use all of your favourite skincare and moisturise. Appreciate your body.

10. Look in the mirror, and compliment 3 things you love about yourself, or 3 things that you are thankful for that you have done today. 

Sometimes it is hard to get moving, but it is these small movements and steps we take that make a world of change. 

Don’t forget to smile at that beautiful person in the mirror each day!
